Stormwater
Terraphase engineers provide a complete range of engineering, evaluation, and application of storm water technologies and services. We take into account site-specific conditions and the goals and objectives of the client. Our engineers have engineered and designed innovative Best Management Practices (BMPs), prepared comprehensive storm-water pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs), and provided detailed mapping of storm water infrastructure in geographic information systems (GIS). Terraphase engineers are trained in the latest SWPPP development, implementation, and inspection (QSD/QSP training) as necessary under the new Construction General Permit (CGP). We assist clients with all phases of the construction project process, from permit application to erosion and sediment control design to inspection of BMPs to the final site design, storm water program management and run-off monitoring. In addition
we specialize in working with storm water treatment device manufacturers to develop thorough, yet cost-effective, testing and evaluation programs that allow our clients to obtain regulatory approval.
- Our experience and capabilities span a wide range of storm water activities, including:
- Preparing and implementing SWPPPs and storm water management plans (SWMPs)
- Conducting treatment device laboratory and field testing
- Obtaining treatment device regulatory approval (TAPE and TARP protocols)
- Developing monitoring programs and conducting sampling and analysis
- Evaluating, engineering, and implementing BMPs
- Preparing NPDES permit applications
- Providing program and construction management services
- Mapping storm water infrastructure in GIS
