  • Having a dedicated safety officer for the division
  • Appointing a safety officer’s representative to each local office’s surveying group

Technology. Our ongoing research and development and investment in technologies gives you more options and saves your project time and money—like our mobile mapping services or our many other technologies:

  • Customized field data collection software to collect data right, the first time
  • Sophisticated robotic total station, so one surveyor do the work of two or three
  • Wireless communication technologies, for a virtual office wherever our surveyors go

We also work with the leading equipment manufacturers to identify technology gaps and recommend advancements to close those gaps and expand current capabilities.

Today, we continue to work with leaders such as Trimble and Leica Geosystems on new ways to quickly and cost-effectively collect and analyze data to define the as-built environment. We also work closely with the Department of Defense to commercialize defense technologies for leading-edge surveying and mapping applications.
