Speed. Woolpert has ready-to-go surveying teams strategically located in offices throughout the U.S., as well as additional on-call field resources. And, when aviation, federal, higher education and industrial clients lack onsite resources, they ask us to serve as an extension of their staff.
Smarts. Our team members receive an average of 100 hours of professional, technical and safety training annually. Our commitment to safe practices includes:
- Teaching safety strategies in weekly, monthly and annual meetings
- Having a dedicated safety officer for the division
- Appointing a safety officer’s representative to each local office’s surveying group
Technology. Our ongoing research and development and investment in technologies gives you more options and saves your project time and money—like our mobile mapping services or our many other technologies:
- Customized field data collection software to collect data right, the first time
- Sophisticated robotic total station, so one surveyor do the work of two or three
- Wireless communication technologies, for a virtual office wherever our surveyors go
We also work with the leading equipment manufacturers to identify technology gaps and recommend advancements to close those gaps and expand current capabilities.
Today, we continue to work with leaders such as Trimble and Leica Geosystems on new ways to quickly and cost-effectively collect and analyze data to define the as-built environment. We also work closely with the Department of Defense to commercialize defense technologies for leading-edge surveying and mapping applications.
