Assessing emissions and energy technology under real-world and laboratory conditions. Emisstar offers a comprehensive suite of complete engine and vehicle testing services through our Test Channel™ network of nationally recognized testing facilities; on-vehicle, real-time measurement capabilities using portable emissions measurement systems (PEMS); and Low-Cost Carbon Measurement (LCCM™) technology.
- Test Channel™ – Emisstar’s network of nationally recognized testing facilities for engine and chassis dynamometer testing;
- Portable Emissions Measurement Systems (PEMS) – On-vehicle measurement instrumentation providing energy and emissions performance evaluation under real-world conditions; and
- Low-Cost Carbon Measurement (LCCM™) – Telematics-integrated, carbon measurement technology platform for commercial vehicle applications.
Emisstar utilizes portable emission measurement systems (PEMS) as well as engine and chassis test facilities to measure and quantify the baseline emission levels of mobile sources and the environmental performance of air emissions control technologies, fuels, additives and alternative energy sources. We work in partnership with industry and government to provide a unique combination of research, testing, analysis and reporting services to deliver meaningful results to our clients.
