Under Water Welding Services
Ven-Tech Subsea provides full solution diving and support services to the construction industry, using qualified, highly skilled personnel.
We have extensive equipment for underwater welding and cutting operations and have the qualified personnel to complete the work safely and efficiently.
With over 25 years of experience our professional divers are certified in accordance to the underwater welding code AWS D3.6M:2017 and highly experienced in wet welding and can provide weld procedures and testing for all works.
While most diving companies provide underwater welding and cutting services, only a few can deliver certified welds or the precision cutting that is occasionally required. At Ven-Tech Subsea our policy of employing tradesman divers means that only qualified metal fabricators / welders are used to carry out significant underwater welding and cutting projects.
All individuals participating on the project as welder-divers will undergo a weld coding before to the start of any welding programme.
This is carried out using the same materials, electrodes, positional requirements and, where possible, under the same environmental conditions particular to the project. The resulting test coupons are sent to the customer for testing, or in-house testing and examination is performed with the results provided to the client.
To further encourage client participation and monitoring Ven-Tech Subsea has established a wet welding training tank with one of our partners at our workshop in Seattle (Washington State) with direct view ports and closed circuit video.
Our professional team is made of a group of highly trained, experienced certified divers and are all WCB/CSA certified. In addition, all our divers are certified and experienced CSWIP 3.1U/ 3.2U Inspection divers and are certified to do Weld Inspections using Non-Destructive Testing techniques.
Our commercial diving services are available to both the inshore and offshore sectors nationwide.
