Vacuum Pump Repair Service
Vacuum pump repair service is offered by Scientific Instrument Services, Inc. in cooperation with Innovative Vacuum Solutions (IVS). If you have a vacuum pump that need repaired, please fill in the form below. A response should be expected within 1-2 business days.
Every pump serviced by IVS goes though a comprehensive overhaul process. The pump is completely disassembled and decontaminated through a high temperature, high pressure caustic cleansing process. Each component is inspected and any part that does not meet OEM specifications is either replaced or remanufactured. Each pump receives a full major kit that replaces all of the consumable parts within the pump. Any other parts that are damaged or do not meet specifications, such as a rotor, stator, motor, shaft etc., will be written up and priced as additional parts required. Once a pump is analyzed, a Service Analysis Form is submitted to the customer detailing our findings. Upon final approval the pump is built and performance tested for up to 72 hours before being re-painted. Every pump that IVS sells or services includes a one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, effective from the documented date of installation.
Shipping Instructions
Innovative Vacuum Solutions has two repair facilities for your convenience. One of our Sales Engineers will help you determine the appropriate ship to location for your pump.
Before shipping
- Drain the oil out of the pump
- Fill out the Contamination Data Form
- Package the pump securely in a box or bolt to a skid (if larger pump)
If you are located within 50 mile or so radius, IVS will pick up and deliver free of charge.
