Romprest is the only company in its field of activity to start the first programme of selective collection of the household garbage in District 1 of the Capital. The population received for the daily use some special pre-collection recipients (humid fraction and dry fraction) and was informed about the separate collection and its advantages. Also, the collection process was optimized by the introduction of proper equipments for the separate collection.The alignment of Romprest practices to the European standards was made, on the one hand by the collection per categories and, on the other hand by the creation of fixed collection points on the selected area (special recipients for the separate collection of Paper/Board, Plastic/Metal and Glass), following the model of the European metropolis.

  • The decontamination of vehicles and containers is made in Chitila. The stages of the decontamination are:  
  • Mechanical cleaning of the surfaces, the most important aspect of the decontamination  
  • Application of the decontamination agent  
  • Conclusion of the Decontamination Note  
  • The decontamination means are: chemical decontamination agents, tools and equipments: hand devices (spray jets, pneumatic bag-like atomizers) -special hoses for proper distribution under equal pressure of the working solution.
