GemiUK participate actively in the development of sorting processes and the development of fuel fractions among our customers. Through regular deliveries to moren then 30 different energy recovery facilities across North Europe GemiUK has gained considerable know-how of fuel types and specifications the plants requires. Logistics solutions are affected by the treatment the waste undergoes. GemiUK’s task is to ensure that customers get in place off-take solutions supporting long-term deliveries of their waste fuel at competitive conditions.

Shredding and baling of waste
Through our shareholder GemiDan, GemiUK can supply shredding and baling services based on mobile equipment. Shredding of waste upgrade fuel quality to meet the off-takers specification requirements and increases recycling through metal separation and screening of inert fines. Through baling and wrapping waste fuel becomes storeable and movable for long distance transportation. Baling and wrapping allowing to use back load transport on curtain side trailers or shipping by vessels. GemiDan has long experience with shredding and baling of waste and had assignments through many European countries since all equipment is fully mobile.
