Water Resources and Hydrology Services

The New Stormwater Permit Went into Effect July 1, 2010

Order No. 2009-0009 DWQ
Requirements include:
- Electronic filing of all Permit Registration Documents via SMARTS
- Year-round minimum BMP measures (All Risk Levels)
- Year-round BMPs, stormwater, and non-stormwater monitoring (All Risk Levels)
- Year-round stormwater sampling (Risk Levels 2 and 3) and non-stormwater sampling (All Risk Levels)
- QSD and QSP qualifications, training and certification
