The types of analysis undertaken are:
Microbiological
Drinking water supplies are tested to determine levels of bacteria present and this type if testing includes Legionella.
Closed water systems such as chilled water in air conditioning systems is are also tested as some bacteria can cause corrosion of the pipework/valves such as Sulphate Reducing Bacteria as well as organisms that have also been associated with operational difficulties of systems e.g. Pseudomonas.
