Well Disinfection
Our patented, EPA approved, disinfection process, kills and controls microorganisms in your well water. This kit is designed to disinfect shallow and drilled wells effectively, efficiently and safely. The beauty of our product is that you can continue to use your water during the process. The kit includes all the necessary information and reagents needed to perform a single disinfection.
The disinfection process is divided into three easy steps:
- Adding the disinfecting agent.
- Allowing disinfecting retention time.
- A post treatment bacteria test (an $80 value that is included free inside the kit).
Well disinfection can eliminate or reduce many different kinds of harmful bacteria (germs, viruses and microorganisms), as well as non-harmful bacteria that can cause unpleasant tastes or odors. A change in your water`s taste, color or smell may not always be a health concern, but it could be a sign of serious contamination problems. You should disinfect when:

Unfortunately, many people use the wrong disinfecting agent and may do more harm than good to their water supply and their health. Laundry bleach should not be used for disinfecting a well, it should be used for laundry purposes only, that is why it was manufactured. This type of bleach may contain harmful toxins which is why you should not drink or shower with the water while it is in your well system.
