Scheduling and assigning training content
Academy facilitates the assignment of online and offline training events with one-time-only or recurring options. Assignments can be set to recur by last completion date or due date, with intervals determined by the administrator.

Tracking, email reminders, and comprehensive reporting
Academy provides comprehensive filtering and data export options to support a range of compliance reporting needs. Administrators may run reports for multiple groups or individual employees to obtain a rapid view of status and training progress. Administrators can also create and save customized reports and configure emails to run automatically at defined intervals, with training results emailed to line managers or supervisors to help further drive training completions. Academy also offers e-mail notification features for users, supervisorsand administrators that are completely configurable by the training administrator.

Training groups
Within Academy, training can be assigned to individual users, or to defined user groups. Administrators create user groups by using demographics that are based on categories such as job role, corporate division, or geographic location.

Equivalencies and exemptions
Courses or other training events can be designated as equivalents, allowing administrators to specify alternatives for the same training requirement by training exemptions or equivalences. Administrators may grant to individuals or entire demographic groups.

User progress status
Within Academy, each user can easily view assigned training events, as well as the required completion date for each. Users can revisit completed courses for review purposes and print certificates for completed training. For users unable to complete a course during their session, bookmarking capabilities are available to save the progress. Academy allows users returning at a later time the ability to resume the course right where they left off.

Records management
Academy tracks users’ access to and completion of assigned courses and maintains a complete training history for each user. As training periods expire and users retrain based on the specified time interval, Academy maintains a history of all completions for each user. Users and administrators can access a complete view of individual’s training history. Academy can share data with most HRIS, including those provided by Oracle-PeopleSoft, SAP, and Sentient, allowing Academy data to remain up to date with the HRIS automatically.
