FireScout - AI-based Wildfire Detection Software
Artificial intelligence powers FireScout’s advanced detection, confirmation, and reporting capabilities. Through its efficient AI algorithms, FireScout can detect fires in under a minute and features an accuracy rate of 99%+. FireScout AI has been trained in more than 10 million images to date and AlcheraX is continuously training FireScout algorithms and implementing additional improvements to the technology. It continuously learns to recognize smoke versus clouds, fog or steam rising from a river or lake.
Unlike other fire detection systems, FireScout works with any full high-definition (FHD) cameras. It integrates seamlessly into government and utility alert and emergency response systems. FireScout detects smoke or fire as soon as it is visible within the panoramic camera view, often before CCTV operators or the general public report smoke or fire, and uploads images to AWS or any other cloud server. FireScout then alerts CCTV operators, who can verify that an event is an actual fire and notify first responders, utilities and other officials. When a fire is detected, FireScout creates a video clip of the previous four minutes of images, which is valuable for training purposes.
