- Ensuring safe storage, handling, transport and disposal of substances
ADM-EHSAP is the industry's ultimate best-of-class tool for optimized loading and management of EH&S regulatory and chemical data.
How it Works
Regulations are constantly changing. EH&S professionals are required to track hundreds of regulations in many jurisdictions as they apply to thousands of substances. ADM-EHSAP provides EH&S professionals with easy and efficient maintenance of regulatory information within SAP EH&S at the specification level. During the initial integration of data, users make decisions about what regulations are relevant based on their unique business needs. These decisions are stored so that when future updates are loaded, the user can easily identify what regulations have changed since the last update. Users review all information before it is loaded into the EH&S system, enabling informed decision-making related to the organization's product safety and stewardship requirements. ADM-EHSAP is a robust and scaleable web-based solution that supports local data repository updates over the Internet or via a physical media such as CD or DVD.
A variety of professionals with a wide range of EH&S responsibilities can enjoy the benefits of ADM-EHSAR For example, the GHS classification according to CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 for zinc powder may be reviewed within ADM-EHSAR Depending on whether the chemical has been stabilized or is in a pyrophoric state, the appropriate classification can be selected in ADM-EHSAP and shared with others throughout the enterprise, enabling MSDS Authors,Transportation Specialists and others to consistently reference the appropriate classification. As needed, substance variants may be maintained to support chemical and hazard differences such as the hazards that are applicable when a substance is in a free flowing state and those that are applicable when the same substance is in an encapsulated state.
How to Use
ADM-EHSAP has been proven to increase efficiencies, streamline processes and save EH&S professionals valuable time. Regulatory Compliance Specialists,Toxicologists, Industrial Hygienists, MSDS Authors, Material and Emission Specialists and Transportation and Logistical Specialists rely on Ariel content everyday.
Features
ADM-EHSAP was designed to meet the demanding needs of the most sophisticated users of SAP & EHS.
Generics
Identifies regulatory requirements for chemicals that are not specifically named in the regulations, but that are regulated under a generic classification as members of over 5,000 broad regulatory classes known as 'generics'. Hundreds of thousands of chemical links between generics and CAS numbers are maintained to ensure that users give consideration to all regulations that may be applicable. Efficient decision support functionality enables making generics choices at the substance and regulation level, significantly reducing the time required for data updates.
Regulatory Impact Analysis
When users need to understand the impact of regulatory changes on their business, ADM-EHSAP summarizes the number of specification records impacted by direct hits and those involving generics. The process provides insight into the amount of effort required to adopt a set of regulatory changes by identifying how specific records have been impacted.
Flexible Configuration
ADM-EHSAP allows flexible configuration and loading of identifiers, phrases, phrase sets and other regulatory data where SAP import files are generated directly from the ADM-EHSAP application. Users can easily map regulations to their SAP property tree, even if customized.
