JSF Technologies - Asset Control & Monitoring System (ACMS) Modules
JSF Technologies offers the Asset Control & Monitoring System (ACMS), a versatile solution designed for the scheduling and management of transportation and infrastructure systems. This system can operate offline through direct Wi-Fi or be remotely managed via cellular networks when integrated with Applied Information's Glance® Smart City Supervisory Platform (additional connectivity sold separately). ACMS is compatible with JSF Technologies’ FL and AB Series product lines, supporting applications requiring scheduled or on-demand activation of warning systems. It enhances safety by early identification of potential hazards through continuous monitoring of traffic signals and infrastructure components. By optimizing resource allocation such as manpower and equipment, it enables efficient scheduling of maintenance tasks. Moreover, the system allows real-time data analysis to facilitate better planning and decision-making for future projects, enhancing traffic flow and increasing infrastructure accountability.
CONNECT AND MONITOR ALL YOUR DEVICES
Asset Control and Monitoring Systems play a critical role in managing today’s infrastructure and are essential in the traffic industry for improving safety, improving traffic flow, increasing accountability, optimizing resources, and planning for the future.
In general, the Nation’s highways are an aging asset, so maintenance, repair, and replacement costs are increasing as resources shrink. Transportation agencies have embraced the asset management decision making framework to help them highlight both the significance of highway infrastructure as an investment and the cost-effectiveness of systematic condition and performance monitoring and maintenance programs.
Scheduling Made Easy
Need to adjust your schedule or make change due to weather? No Problem. With Glance you can adjust and set schedules remotely.
Smart Alerts
Applied Information's School Beacon system provides text and email alerts based on criteria you set. Know instantly if there are problems.
Power Monitoring
Glance lets you remotely monitor and track AC Voltage, battery back-up and solar charge voltage. Now you can identify problems before they arise.
Easy Installation
The system is simple to install and the beacons configure themselves automatically. No more costly and time-consuming manual configuration.
Lamp Failures
With Glance, You can see precisely which beacons need lamp replacements. This makes maintenance easier and keeps the system more effective.
Improved Safety
Effective asset control and monitoring systems can help improve safety by identifying potential hazards and risks. By monitoring traffic signals, road signs, and other infrastructure components, authorities can identify potential issues before they become accidents.
Efficient Use of Resources
Asset control and monitoring systems can help optimize the use of resources such as manpower, time, and equipment. For example, by monitoring traffic flow and analyzing data, authorities can make informed decisions about the best times to conduct maintenance or repair work, reducing the need for unscheduled maintenance and saving time and money.
Better Planning
With access to real-time data, asset control and monitoring systems can help authorities make informed decisions about future infrastructure projects, such as identifying areas where additional signage or road markings may be needed.
Improved Traffic Flow
Monitoring systems can help reduce congestion and improve traffic flow by identifying bottlenecks and making adjustments in real-time. For example, intelligent traffic management systems can adjust signal timings based on traffic volumes to reduce delays and improve overall traffic flow.
Increased Accountability
Asset control and monitoring systems can help increase accountability by tracking performance metrics and ensuring compliance with regulations. By tracking the performance of infrastructure assets, authorities can identify areas for improvement and take action to address any deficiencies.
