The Evolv eXpedite AI-Based Weapons Detection System is engineered specifically for identifying concealed weapons in bags, utilizing advanced high-speed X-ray imaging combined with AI that differentiates potential threats from everyday items. This system is designed for seamless integration with Evolv Express, aiming to offer a comprehensive checkpoint solution that enhances security without compromising visitor experience. Unlike traditional methods, security staff using Evolv eXpedite do not need constant screen monitoring or specialized training to interpret X-ray images as the system autonomously handles threat detection with a simple red/light activation system. With a conveyer belt speed of about 0.75 m/sec, it maintains an efficient flow allowing high throughput at checkpoints. By providing real-time data insights and integrations with existing security infrastructure, Evolv eXpedite aims to support venues such as schools, hospitals, and stadiums in optimizing their security processes, thereby creating safer environments.

Autonomous Threat Detection
Evolv eXpedite is designed to autonomously scan bags to detect potential threats. The system uses advanced AI and high-speed X-ray imaging technology to distinguish many potential threats from many everyday items.
Supported Threat Resolution
If a threat is detected, the green lights on eXpedite turn red and the conveyer belt stops. A connected tablet shows the bag’s image and an X-ray image to support threat response.
High Efficiency Throughput
People can place their bags on the Evolv eXpedite conveyer belt as they are walking through the Evolv Express™ system. The speed of the eXpedite belt—about 0.75 m/sec— aims to allow people to walk through at their normal walking pace, with the goal of providing a high throughput experience at entry checkpoints.
Easy to Operate
The red light / green light output and the Evolv tablet that identifies the bag to search, aim to make it easy for security staff to operate Evolv eXpedite. They don’t need to continuously monitor a computer screen to identify potential threats and determine whether to stop the belt or not.
