Unicorn - Version ProGEO -Geodetic Surveying Tool

ProGEO is a powerful tool designed to work with results of geodetic surveying. It can be used for all stages of geographic data processing, from retrieval of points, to creation and validation of drawings, to printing and export in required formats. In design, ProGEO is used to make drawings of power grids based on their operators’ requirements. The application is built on the Bentley platform.

Results of geodetic surveying are processed in ProGEO using all available inputs, such as ISKN (land registry) data, ortophotos, WMS services, or data provided from the RÚIAN registry database, based on a defined data model (layer, line, colour, line widths, etc.). Based on the data model employed, surveyed data can be processed, drawings made and validated, and data outputs generated.

With ProGEO, you can define your own data model, including validations, as required by specific towns and municipalities, regions, water companies, gas companies, heating plants, energy and telecommunication companies, public road administrators, and other utility line managers. This can save you a great deal of time and eliminate most of the mistakes that may arise when submitting data. ProGEO includes predefined data models for the following companies:

In ProGEO, you can use data in most popular vector and raster formats. While ProGEO works primarily with the DGN format, it also uses MicroStation or Bentley Map platforms, so it can display and process DWG, DXF, SHP, and MIP files. The system can provide links to non-graphic data from external database tables or define it using Bentley XFM (XML Feature Modelling) technology.
