Hazard Monitoring and Tracking
Organizations need to report, monitor, and resolve hazards to improve environmental, health, and safety.
Best safety practices and guidelines, including the Federal Aviation Authority's Airport Safety Management Systems and OSHA's Voluntary Protection Program, recognize the need to report, evaluate, and resolve hazards. These hazards can be the result of other safety activity including inspections, incidents, design reviews or modifications, internal and external audits, and more.
With the IndustrySafe Hazards Module users can link hazards to other modules in IndustrySafe including Incidents and Inspections or add hazards directly from the Hazards Module. Users can also add action items directly to a hazard.
For linked hazards, a large amount of data will autofill from the parent record saving time with data entry. In addition, multiple hazards can be linked to one parent record (i.e. an incident) and users will be abe to view the hazard with the parent record and within the Hazards Module.
For each hazard within the system, users can conduct a hazard analysis using a hazard risk matrix that combines severity and probability to determine risk assessment. A standard risk matrix is set up within IndustrySafe, but each organization can modify the risk matrix to meet their needs or applicable regulation.
Hazard Reporting
IndustrySafe's Hazard Module allows for detailed reporting and email notifications. Users can automatically be sent emails when hazards are created or closed. IndustrySafe can send escalating emails to supervisors and safety professionals if hazard corrective actions are not completed by estimated due dates.
By relying on hazard forms provided by IndustrySafe safety software, companies can compare safety and health indicators across modules, checking to see how unresolved hazards may be affecting health and safety compliance.
Safety Managers can also upload supporting documents (including photographs), export data to other applications or monitor hazard metrics across several locations or regions.
The Hazard Module allows for detailed reporting and analytics of hazard activity and follow up across your organization. EHS Professionals can drill down to view hazards by source, department, area and more. Pre-set dashboards alert users to hazard close out rates across the organization.
