To get this, it is necessary to carry out the following activities: Assessment and description of water resources. Kick-off of monitoring networks and tracking of environmental indicators. Use of information systems of water and of support to decision making process. Risk analysis. Water footprint studies. Administrative processing. Evaluation of quality and pollution of water. Production and use of water cartographies.
 
Eco-hydrology
Its aim is to integrate and value environmental services provided by aquatic ecosystems into water uses, as a mechanism of improvement in the recovery, protection and conservation of these ecosystems.  

This is possible thanks to the following activities: Ecological description of water environment. Litological studies. Studies and analysis of effects. Assessment of environmental services. Protection perimeters definition.

Sustainable use
We manage and analyse the demand systems, to get a more rational and cost-effective use of water, minimizing environmental externalities.  

To get this, it is necessary to carry out the following activities: Management of demands. Use of a water management information system. Water reuse. Economic studies. Applications to high productivity agriculture. Consultancy to users communities. Applied teledetection.

Adaptation to climatic change
We analyze the potential effects of climatic change in water and demand systems, to make decisions that minimize the adverse impacts and take advantage of derived opportunities.  

This can be detailed in these activities: Analysis of potential risks and effects propagation. Multi-criteria and multi-objective analysis. Studies of alternatives. Adaptation strategies. Monitoring using teledetection.
 
Governance support
We audit water management systems to identify improvement opportunities and correct deviations in strategic objectives fulfilment.  

This implies the development of the following actions: Audits of water plans. Audits of management systems. Recommendations and management plans. Strategic environmental assessment.

Prevention and adaptation to extreme hydrological phenomenon
We design proactive protection measures against droughts and flooding.
