Logical Decisions - Version Student -Multi-Criteria Decision Support Software

The only difference between the student version and the professional version is that the student version will be clearly marked as such on all screen displays. In addition, the student version has a one year limited license.  The LDW student version will “time out” one year from the date of purchase.  If the purchaser is still using Logical Decisions as a student at that time, he or she can contact Logical Decisions for a free license extension.  Otherwise, she can contact Logical Decisions for a reduced price upgrade to the Logical Decisions Professional or Academic version.  Student versions installed in a teaching lab will not time out.

To use the Logical Decisions® student version in a course, the course professor must have purchased at least one copy of the Logical Decisions® academic version. The professor should contact Logical Decisions and indicate the name of the course, the anticipated number of students and the names of the students if possible. Professors can order the required number of student versions in bulk from Logical Decisions® or can have students buy Logical Decisions® from the Logical Decisions Shop by using a discount code.

LAN or Teaching Lab Installation

The student version of Logical Decisions can be installed in a teaching laboratory or on a LAN used for teaching purposes at a price of $65 per simultaneous user. At least one full copy of Logical Decisions® must be purchased at the academic price. The $65 price includes one .pdf copy of the Logical Decisions® User’s Manual for each simultaneous user. LAN and teaching lab installations do NOT have a one year time-out.
