Unicorn Geostruct - Version IMS -Planning and Keeping Records Software for Optical Networks

In collaboration with its Dutch partner, Geostruct, Unicorn developed a new solution for planning, designing, and construction of optical networks. To handle such issues and processes properly, you need data on telecommunication networks, which is stored in the GIMS. This is a single, centralised data source available to network development and construction workers, which they can use to plan and design networks. With the tools and optimisation algorithms provided by both the client application and the system as a whole, a telecommunication company can effectively support the processes of designing, planning, and construction of new networks or reconstructing the existing infrastructure.

The GIMS solution provides significant support for digitisation of construction processes and transition from paper to digital formats. Its major objectives include improvement and acceleration of collaboration among process roles sharing the same data source.
