Trilogy Publishing Manager - Retail, Electronic Point of Sale Software
Many publishing companies also operate a retail outlet. Both channels ideally need to be integrated to Inventory for efficient fulfilment. If the retail outlet is on another geographic location to the publishing, the EPoS module can work on line or as a stand-alone unit and update the main database with an occasional batch process through a modem. In a retail outlet, many customers do not want to offer their names and addresses. The Trilogy EPoS module will allow you to process an order while adjusting the inventory.
Correct Pricing for Special Customers
If you run a membership scheme or have specific customers who have special pricing for various products, the EPoS system will display the correct price for that particular account.
Fraud Prevention
All refunds are checked against receipt numbers, the purchased stock and the original payment to guard against fraudulent returns.
Offer Alternatives in the Shop
If a particular item is out of stock in the shop, it is easy to view alternatives or find out if the item is available in another location.
Incentives for Sales Personnel
The till has a login name and password, so you can confidently offer commission or incentive schemes to your sales personnel. A report can be run to view who has sold what product.
