The AmbiDS application was born to meet the specifications of a Flood Alert System, for which Ambimetric felt the need for a versatile tool in Portuguese, able to assimilate data from a diverse set of hydrometeorological stations. AmbiDS is being used for the monitoring of hydrometeorological stations by renowned entities in the PALOP, such as GABHIC (Office for the Administration of the Cunene River Basin), in Angola, and the National Meteorology Institutes of Cape Verde and Mozambique.

AmbiDS is a client/server application, specially designed for monitoring and managing data from environmental monitoring systems. This application runs on a dedicated server, installed on the client, and allows access to the network information from any PC connected to the Internet, through access credentials.
