QUADRANT: the square baler for every size.

Balers have a long tradition at CLAAS, and the QUADRANT square baler is a flagship machine. Especially when combined with a XERION system tractor, CLAAS square balers make an unbeatable team in the field. High throughput coupled with an optimum bale weight are the basis for a successful harvest.

Quality right down to the knots.

CLAAS square balers use specially designed and manufactured knotters. Single or loop knotters leave no unwanted twine residue on the bale or in the field – this can amount to up to 0.5 m per bale. At the same time, these machines produce maximum bale densities with high knotting reliability.

Pressure control from the cockpit.

The bale density of a bale is particularly important. The QUADRANT square balers do an excellent job, compacting straw, hay or silage in the bale chamber in record time. You can adjust the baling pressure to suit the conditions at any time from the control terminal.

The QUADRANT series.

Since its market launch in 1988, the QUADRANT square baler has set new standards. Up to 51 knives ensure excellent cutting quality. The pick-up with a working width of 2.35 metres picks up even large and uneven swaths with ease. The optimum amount of forage is determined in the hydraulically controlled prechamber and pressed into clean bales in the bale chamber.
