Vericut Optimizer - Standalone Software Solution for NC Program Optimization
Vericut Optimizer (VO) is a standalone software solution for NC program optimization, working independently from the VERICUT verification module. It processes APT/CL files or G-code generated by almost any CAM system and supports 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines. By focusing solely on cutting and optimization, VO delivers optimized NC programs that reduce machining time, extend tool life, and improve part quality.

This solution is designed for companies and machine shops that consider the full VERICUT package too costly or unnecessary for their workflow. VO offers an affordable way to access optimization without requiring full verification capabilities.

Products and Interfaces
VO is available in a Milling & Turning version and comes preconfigured with a Vericut Machine Configuration (VMC) provided by CGTech. Interfaces are also available for major CAM systems including Mastercam, Gibbscam, Pro-E, CATIA V5, and NX.
Limitations
VO does not provide full machine simulation, collision checking, probing, or optimization for special drilling and turning cycles. It also does not support 3D solid models for VMCs or multi-channel machine configurations.
Configurations and Requirements
VO supports off-the-shelf 2- to 5-axis machine configurations supplied by CGTech. These kinematics-only configurations are encrypted before delivery and are required for the software to function.
Training and Support
The package includes built-in help and training materials. Formal training is not required, but a short 2–4 hour online or in-person session is recommended to cover interface use, VO configuration, and optimization strategies.
