Version INKA - Integrated Control of Sewer Systems and Wastewater Treatment Plants
Waste water treatment plants (WWTP) are usually designed to treat volumes of up to two times dry weather flows. In combined sewer systems, which are very popular, the capacity of the WWTP is quickly exceeded during wet weather. Thus, untreated combined sewage overflows into rivers and lakes, which is undesirable.
Together with the generic INKA controller, the triedand-tested hardware and software components from STEBATEC ensure optimal use of the available storage capacity of the entire waste water system during rain events according to user-defined preferences. For example, if your goal is to minimize discharges of untreated waste water into the environment, the capacity of the available storage infrastructure is maximized.
Without additional grey infrastructure, this often substantially reduces the overflow of untreated waste water into water bodies.
