Established in 1990 by Kathy DeSalvo (nee Nicholson) as Occupational Training Services, our company was founded with a vision to provide high-quality, instructor-led, hands-on training, addressing an industry need. Swiftly becoming the Midwest leader in environmental training, focusing on asbestos and lead training, OTS attracted numerous students and companies, gradually expanding into the safety and health industry.

In 1996, our evolution led to the introduction of a resale division for safety supplies and equipment, prompting the transformation into Occupational Training & Supply, Inc. With an expanding sales team, our product lines diversified, offering thousands of products and equipment catering to abatement, demolition, construction, government, restoration, weatherization, OSHA safety compliance, and more.

In 2024, Kristina Miczek and Tyler Nicholson, both integral members of our company over the last 15 years, assumed higher positions as president and vice president, respectively, contributing to our continued growth and commitment to excellence, while Kathy DeSalvo, our esteemed CEO and founder, continues to guide our generational business with her invaluable experience and vision.
