ASSE/IAPMO/ANSI 12080 Certification and EOCP BWS Certification Online Courses
HC Info is officially approved to provide the following certification training via online courses in LAMPS:
- ASSE/IAPMO/ANSI 12080 – “Professional Qualifications Standard for Legionella Water Safety and Management Personnel” – is Legionella Water Safety and Management Specialist certification for individuals who provide Legionella-related services or are on ASHRAE 188/514 water management program (WMP) teams.
- EOCP Building Water System (BWS) Operator certification is for building water system operators or service providers in BC or Yukon.
- ASSE 12080 Legionella recertification Training is also available.
ASSE 12080 and BWS Online Course Bundles
The table below shows courses approved for each certification. Study guides for the exams are included at no extra charge.
If you do not need certification, you can purchase any course individually.
The courses are also approved for continuing education units (CEUs) by the Association of Water Technologies (AWT) and the Water Quality Association (WQA).
Each course is available online, 24/7. Take them on your schedule, at your own pace. Certificates are furnished immediately after you finish.
LAMPS member discounts: Anyone who is part of a LAMPS site (Plan, Benchmark, or Complete) or LAMPS Partner Center gets another 25% off the bundle prices listed above.
LAMPS Training Bundle for Health Departments: Only health departments and other government agencies can get access to the popular LAMPS Training Notes without purchasing a LAMPS water management plan. The 100-plus training notes cover topics related to Legionella and water system management. The bundle also gives your agency other LAMPS member benefits such as access to free training videos, free and discounted courses, and member-only access to course 405.
Exams for ASSE 12080 and BWS certifications: If you complete the 14 ASSE 12080 courses within 12 months, you can purchase the ASSE 12080 certification exam for $175. If you complete the ASSE 12080 re-certification course before your certification expires, you can purchase the re-certification exam, which is $130. BC and Yukon residents who complete the courses and meet the experience requirements for EOCP BWS certification can apply to take the BWS exam for $100.
Volume discounts are available per order: 5% off for 10 to 19 students. 10% off for 20 to 39. 25% off for 40 to 99. 40% off for 100 to 199. 50% off for 200+.
BC or Yukon residents: Since the 11 courses required for BWS certification are among the 14 required for ASSE 12080, you can apply to take both the BWS (if you meet EOCP’s prerequisites) and ASSE 12080 exams if you complete all 14 courses. If you want only BWS certification, order the 11-course BWS bundle.
