Rail-Safe - Audits Services

Rail Safe’s initial audit is used by clients who have safety concerns or questions regarding current operating procedures.

During this initial audit, our instructors will perform a safety audit of the rail facility. Your facility is audited for safety items such as, but not limited to: properly secured equipment, close clearances, switch condition, proper use of switches, and clearance marks on tracks.  We ensure proper use of blue flag protection and verify red zone compliance. We help employees, supervisors and managers identify at-risk behavior and encourage them to help each other comply with the “fail-safe” methods we teach. Our professionals will also observe car handling logistics and help determine if a task can be performed in a more efficient manner. Upon completion of the initial audit the customer will receive a written report of Rail Safe’s findings and recommendations. The cost of the initial audit will be discounted with the purchase of online or on-site training.
