Company Security Officer (CSO)

Course Aim
This Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and UK Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) approved training programme provides company officers and managers with the knowledge and skills to carry out duties as a designated Company Security Officer (CSO) in accordance with the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.

The course covers:
Implementation and maintenance of Ship’s Security Plans
Monitoring the ship’s security officer, security systems and processes
Training and motivating company and ship personnel in the performance of security related duties

Who Should Attend
Company management personnel who have been, or are likely to be, appointed as Company Security Officers under the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code. (Serving and retired military personnel are entitled to a forces discount - please email for more information)
