Confined Space On-Site Rescue Training Courses

SHARE

We recommend staffing confined space scenarios with an on-site confined space rescue team because NFPA 350 recommends that a rescue team be capable of making entry for a rescue within two minutes of the incident occurrence. Only an on-site team can handle this type of quick response. Elevated Safety confined space rescue team members are NFPA certified rescuers, in addition to being SPRAT certified rope access technicians. The majority are also employed as professional firefighters, are licensed paramedics and are technical rescue instructors.

Our on-site confined space rescue team will come equipped with the proper safety equipment for your confined space scenario. The equipment needs for your scenario may include winches, mechanical advantage retrieval systems, tripods, patient packaging equipment, rigging hardware, emergency medical equipment, supplied air and/or self-contained breathing apparatus, four gas meters and potentially more advanced air monitoring equipment to look for specific dangerous gases like Benzene, among others.

We typically staff on-site standby rescue operations with a three-person team, although each scenario is customized based on need. Our team is available for short-term needs, as well as longer, on-going contracts.
