The Department of Transportation outlines specific guidelines for DOT training and certification requirements for employers to follow to properly prepare all workers who handle, package, supervise, or have accountability for hazardous materials being placed into shipping or transport.

Our DOT training covers several mandated sections of the DOT Law to include safety and general awareness, labels, manifests, containers and containment, placarding, hazard group identification and spill notification procedures for drivers.
All employers must be able to produce verification that employees have been properly certified, as having been adequately trained under the law; training records shall be maintained for each employee.
