The course provides detailed instruction on the fundamentals of organizational and project-based GHG accounting through accepted protocols such as WRI/WBCSD, The Climate Registry (TCR), and California Climate Action Registry (CCAR) protocols. Additional state and project-based protocols such as the Climate Action Reserve (CAR) will also be examined. The course also provides an enhanced focus on the EPA Mandatory GHG Reporting Rule, including a review of applicability and reporting, recordkeeping and monitoring requirements under the rule. EPA Mandatory GHG Reporting Rule compliance strategies will also be discussed. The course will use instructional slides as well as practical examples to allow the attendees to apply the course material. This course is geared toward corporate managers and GHG/Sustainability program managers within industrial organizations.
