How to Ship Consumer Commodities and Limited Quantities by Ground and Air Course
Ground and air shipments of consumer commodities and limited quantities are subject to somewhat less stringent requirements than other hazardous materials—as long as you prepare and ship them in accordance with the exceptions that DOT and IATA provide.
DOT and IATA require training for personnel who fill or close packages, place marks or labels on packages, load or unload vehicles, or perform any job functions that could affect the safety of hazardous material shipments.
