Qualification / Prerequisites

• English/German language skills; IT skills; process and application understanding at intermediate level
• Accomplished Training Modules AM 10 01 + AM 10 02 or AM 10 03

Learning Objectives

Library Designer

• Is able to create, validate and test the Library in NIRWare Management Console
• BUCHI Database Manager
• Knows how to perform a database backup
• Can restore a database
• Can create a new, blank database
• Knows how to switch between different databases

Spectra Conversion

• Can convert the spectra from the instruments of other suppliers and the spectra from BUCHI N-200 and N-400
• NIRCal Modules
• Has an overview of the available modules in NIRCal and knows how to use them

Calibration Extension

• Can apply procedure for updating/extending cluster or quantitative calibration

• Demonstration of BUCHI Library Designer feature in NIRWare Management Console

BUCHI Database Manager

• Demonstration of the four main functions of BDM

Spectra Conversion

• Demonstration of the conversion procedure

NIRCal Modules

• Demonstration of Spectra Converter, Chemical Bonding, JCAMP-settings, Spectra Duplicate Search and other modules

Calibration Extension

• SOP for the calibration extension process
• Practical exercises
