De-escalation is a behaviour that is intended to prevent escalation of conflicts. Violence and aggression are extremely unpleasant and worrying for most people. The NNTC De-escalation Training Course will empower staff to be able to deal with it effectively if the need arises. This course can include basic breakaway techniques if required. All our de-escalation courses are run in an interactive student-centred style with all assurances given to create a safe learning environment. Please note all our courses are tailored free of charge to your requirements so may vary slightly from the stated aims and outcomes and are run in-house or virtually only.

  • Across the half-day or full-day workshop, staff will be given skills and strategies for managing challenging situations of violence and aggression in a safe ethical and professional manner.
