National Organization of Remediators and Mold Inspectors (NORMI)

- Certified Mold Remediator (CMR)

Only when the “renovation” process is done correctly can the consumer be sure that, not only has the problem been eliminated but, proper construction techniques have been implemented to reduce the chances of the mold returning.

This graphic has been included on this site to assist you in developing a path for your training in the IAQ industry. By starting with the IAQ Basics 101 ONLINE course, you will begin to understand the indoor air quality umbrella under which mold, formaldehyde and other indoor air quality contaminants fit. In most cases, training from our training partners may be followed by the NORMICertification process. Certification requirements for each training may be different but a proctored examination is always required for each certification. Maintaining certification by annually collecting recertification CEUs (Continuing Education Units) insures that, as a trained professional, you will be current with industry standards in whichever path you pursue.
