Osha8-Hour Confined Space Entry
29 CFR 1910.146 requires documented training for confined space workers. Anyone serving as entrant, attendant, supervisor, or rescuer must be trained to a level of proficiency with the duties they are to perform. This course covers the regulatory requirements to include the written program, principles of atmospheric monitoring, permit procedures, ventilation, flushing, space isolation, and other procedures. Included are two hands-on drills using our simulator (Trailer). One drill involves a horizontal entry and another involves a vertical entry with a tripod and harnesses. This course is recommended for supervisors, entrants and attendants. This course does not cover rescue however, rescuers are required to be trained as entrants.
