This one-day course is designed to assist the operator with the operation and maintenance of small wastewater treatment and collection systems. It is an introductory course intended for operators of Class 1 facilities employed in municipalities with a population up to 500. Operators in large municipalities may not find this course completely relevant to their duties. COMPLETION OF THIS COURSE IS ONLY PART OF THE PREREQUISITE FOR SMALL SYSTEM CERTIFICATION.
