Understanding ISO 9001 Quality Management System

Experienced instructors assist students with developing a high proficiency in quality management system concepts, and real-time exercises provide students with practical experience in conducting internal audits.  Students will learn to be aware of the aims, objectives and benefits of internal auditing.  Students will also learn the skills needed to lead a Quality Assurance Project and the ability to comprehensibly answer questions regarding Quality Auditing.

Following the completion of this course; students should be able to: Understand quality management definitions, concepts and guidelines.

• Understand the requirements of the ISO 9001 Standard.
• Understand the roles and responsibilities of the auditor.
• Apply ISO 19011 definitions, concepts and guidelines.
• Recognize the principles, practices and types of audits.
• Conduct all Phases of an Internal Audit (Plan, Execute, Report, Record, Follow-Up, Closure).
• Prepare and Present Effective Reports.
