Current MA regulations require licensed Wastewater Treatment Operators to obtain 20 Training Contact Hours (TCHs) due at the end of each odd-numbered year. The old-format Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is no longer in use. 10 TCHs equal 1 CEU. More information can be found at the New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission’s web site.

Calendar for 2020:

Winter Class: January 8th to February 26th.
Spring Class: April 8th to May 27th.
Fall Class: September 9th to October 28th.

Here is an overview of our 8-week course:

Meets every Wednesday for 8 weeks from 8AM to 11AM
Located at our office in Woburn, MA
Earn a total of 24 TCH
Overview of the basic concepts of physical and chemical treatment, wastewater math, equipment and safety, state and federal regulations, and troubleshooting of wastewater treatment systems
Fee: $1375; all materials included.
