SaskWater

Water and Wastewater Training

SHARE
SaskWater works on behalf of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) to provide operating training to Saskatchewan First Nations. In 2009, SaskWater trained a total of 81 water and wastewater operators at 39 First Nations. The goal of SaskWater"s training program is to assist in providing a safe water supply to residents and to safeguard their valuable water and wastewater infrastructure investment. The program began in 1978 and has evolved and expanded over the years to suit the specific water and wastewater operational needs of First Nations communities as they adapt to frequently changing technology and increasingly stringent regulatory requirements.
