The ANDRITZ reference waste water plant is located in Liège, Belgium. At the plant two ANDRITZ sidebar filter presses SE are installed.

The ANDRITZ filter presses feature both a fully automatic filter cake scraping and a filter cloth washing device. The plant runs 24/7 in fully automatic mode, and no operator presence is required – even at night.

After successful filtration, if there is only partial discharge or the filter cake does not drop off the filter cloth at all, the fully automatic filter cake scraping device scrapes off the remaining filter cake. This process is controlled and monitored by sensors and does not have to be supervised by an operator.

The washing device for the filter cloths is installed as an additional module. It ensures consistently high throughput and excellent dewatering results.
