The external shape of the scroll is adapted to the shape of the bowl of the centrifuge. Both the decanter bowl and the scroll will run at high speeds in later operation. The gap between the two rotating bodies is less than 1 millimeter. So we grind the scroll very precisely to the correct outer diameter. This precision is the basis for the functioning of our decanter centrifuges.
