Conference grants are awarded from the Society’s general funds to help BHS Members whose travel expenses to attend scientific meetings are not met by an employer. Applicants should have been Members of the Society for at least six months. The amount will depend on the nature and location of the meeting and the case put forward.

The Society also administers the Exeter Fund, income from which is used to support early career hydrologists resident in the UK to take part in IAHS/IUGG bienniel assembles.
