MAK Water Ultrafiltration (UF) Plant Video
This MAK Water Containerized Ultrafiltration (UF) plant is designed to produce 5,300 m3/day of filtrate to feed a downstream reverse osmosis plant producing process water for a lithium mine in the Pilbara.
Fully contained within 2 x 40’ shipping containers, the UF membrane filtration container houses an incredible 80 x HYDRAcap MAX 60 UF modules, for a mind blowing total of 6,240 m2 of filtration surface area!
The design average gross flux rate is a conservative 43.65 L/m2/hr.
The plant features 2 x 50% treatment trains, each comprising a feed pump, a SIGMA8000 100 micron self-cleaning screen filter, 40 x HYDRAcap MAX 60 UF modules operating in cross flow (concentrate recycle) configuration, an air scour blower and premium instrumentation (flow, pressure and turbidity transmitters).
Common equipment includes the recovery clean/maintenance clean system, air compressor and PLC control system.
