Metal Separation Module Commissioning In North Spain - Video

In operation, material is fed via a Vibratory Feeder onto a Drum Magnet to remove ferrous metals. The remaining non-magnetic fraction goes onto the Eddy Current Separator.
An Eddy Current Separator performance depends on a number of key machine specifications and the way feed material is fed to the separation zone. In order for non-ferrous metals to efficiently repel from the rotor over the material diverter, they must be free and liberated.
The Vibratory Feeder ensures the material is evenly spread into a single layer across the full width of the Drum Magnet and Eddy Current Separator.
