RAS Research & Educational Skid System - Video

Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) skids, also known as RAS units or modules, are compact and self-contained systems used in aquaculture to maintain water quality and create a controlled environment for fish or aquatic organisms. MK RAS skids provide water conservation, improved water quality, biosecurity, higher stocking density ,year round production ,reduced environmental Impact , location and installation flexibility. Besides all above benefits, RAS research skids including sensors and software systems for precise monitoring and data collection on various parameters, enabling better research and data-driven decision-making for optimal aquaculture practices. Particularly this skid custom was designed and manufactured for the Austevoll School of Fisheries for research and training of the students.
