Ultrasound Image of Waves in Reverb - Video

Schlieren image of an ultrasonic pulse generated by a 5MHz curved array. The pulse propagates away from the transducer and then hits a partially reflecting surface, showing several bounces. Note the sidelobes as well as the trailing whiskers of the pulse, both consequences of the finite aperture source.
