Advanced technology solutions for oceanography sector - Maritime/Shipbuild/Water Transport - Maritime
Aanderaa products have been used in oceanographic research for more than 50 years. Aanderaa products have played an important roles within the oceanographic community since 1966. The Aanderaa Current Meters were from the beginning known for their reliability and early considered the de facto standard for ocean current measurements. Over the years, our oceanographic product portfolios have undergone an evolution; the range of products have broadened substantially. Aanderaa oceanographic products incorporate industry-leading microcontrollers and digital signal processors. Advanced software solutions and powerful processors are implemented in our data loggers. XML and modern Bus technology provide safe and fast data transfer. Our advanced sensors based on decades of development employ the most advanced multi-frequency acoustic technology and optical technology available.
Aanderaa instruments and sensors are used worldwide within oceanography by hydrographic surveyors, climate researchers and others seeking best-in-class, reliable oceanographic data.
Product focus areas:
- Current meters
- Current Profilers
- Submersible sensors comprising:
- Wave- and tide sensors
- Dissolved Oxygen
- Salinity
- Temperature
- Sensor strings with data loggers
- Ocean Observatories
- Hadal zone instrumentation.
Aanderaa products have been used for environmental research, oceanographic research, hydrographic monitoring, river and lake research, as well as climate research for many years.
Our SeaGuard platform and expanding line-up of smart sensors may be used either as self-recording instruments or as a real-time Met-Ocean observing network. This versatility is available without the extra cost associated with a custom solution.
AADI systems for the environmental research communities include SeaGuard RCM/CTD, Recording Doppler Current Profiler, automatic weather stations, wave and tide stations and buoy systems. Stand-alone sensors are available for measuring parameters such as conductivity, temperature, pressure, oxygen, wave and tide, currents and water level.
