Gas Analysers for Air Emissions - Air and Climate - Air Monitoring and Testing
The emission challenge is significant to ETG Risorse e Tecnologia. For years it has been engaged in providing instrumentation and support to authorities and companies operating in the environmental sector. Climate change is a scientifically established reality, as is its anthropogenic origin; emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere are one of its leading causes. Their monitoring - in addition to being mandatory - allows their level to be kept under control. ETG fully supports the Green Deal and the European Commission`s decision to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.
Emissions are one major cause of climate change
The analysis of pollutants plays a key role in public health
Any pollutant emitted in the form of gas or particulate matter is classified as an emission. Since its inception, ETG has provided many complete systems - from sampling to analysis - to many different industries, from steelworks to chemical plants.
Gaseous pollutants - mainly from combustion processes - are of particular importance:
- Sulphur compounds such as sulphur dioxide (SO2), carbonyl sulphide (COS), carbon sulphide (CS2), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), dimethyl sulphate (CH3)2SO4.
- Nitrogen compounds including nitrogen monoxide and nitrogen dioxide (commonly referred to as NOx)
- Carbon compounds, such as carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2)
- Halogenated compounds (HCl, HF, HBr, CFC...).
ETG Risorse e Tecnologia has several solutions to monitor this type of emissions, such as the ETG 6900, ETG 7500, ETG 7550 and ETG 9500 series. Besides, we custom design the instrumentation to the industrial process specifications; download the brochure or contact us for any request.
If the pollutant is of a solid nature, it is particulate matter, particularly relevant to public health. The particles are classified according to their size, usually PM10 or PM2.5 or even smaller. ETG Resources and Technology has over the years, developed the appropriate instrumentation to control them and provides complete gas and particulate emission monitoring systems.
